Japanese syllabary

Katakana is a Japanese Syllabary, It is one of the component as a Japanese writing system in Japan along with Hiragana, 'Kanji' It is a latin script known as a Romaji.Katakana means ''Fragmentary Kana'', as it characters are also derived from the components of more complex Kanji. Katakana consists of 48 characters. This are 5 nucleus vowels, 42 core or body including syllabograms, consists of 9 consonants with the combination of the 5 vowels of which 3 possible combinations which are not canonical and the last part is 1 coda consonant.
